This week we welcomed more than 1,000 primary school children from across Warrington and Runcorn to its Daresbury office, treating them all to a wonderful festive experience at TAGmas.

During their visit the children got the chance to meet Santa in his grotto as well as enjoying a variety of Christmas activities, including face painting, creating festive biscuits and drawing.

Children and teachers from 15 schools made the trip to the TAGmas community event;

  • St Andrew’s C of E Primary School
  • St Barnabas CE Primary School
  • St Ann’s C of E Primary School
  • St Bridget’s Catholic Primary School
  • St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School
  • Alderman Bolton Primary Academy
  • Latchford St James C of E Primary School
  • Murdishaw West Community Primary School
  • The Brow Community Primary School
  • Windmill Hill Primary School
  • Castle View Primary School
  • Gorsewood Primary School,
  • St Martin’s Catholic Primary School
  • and Brookvale Primary School.

TAG colleagues got involved in the festive activity and swapped their normal office outfits for some festive fancy dress.

Helen Meaden, Group Purpose and Culture Director, at Trust Alliance Group, said: “Once again our TAGmas week has reminded us why it’s so important to support our local communities. We know that a number of people face hardship at this time of year so we hope that our efforts have helped to make Christmas even more special for these amazing children. All the schools that attended were wonderful and it was a pleasure to see the joy on the faces of the children who all really seemed to enjoy their visit to our grotto.”

Jane Hodgkinson, Headteacher, St Barnabas Primary School, Warrington,

“Thanks to everyone at Trust Alliance Group for organising such an incredible event. The children and staff had the best day ever!

“All of the staff on site were helpful and brilliant with the children. Our time at the TAG Christmas event was truly an unforgettable experience – most of our children won’t have another opportunity like this and everyone in our school community is truly thankful to you all.”

Hosting local primary schools at Christmas is just one of many community projects that Trust Alliance Group gets involved with throughout this year to strengthen our community links.
