Meet the team

Ed, with the Group since 2019, leads a team delivering TAG strategy, building consumer-business trust in the energy and communications sectors. He’s held strategy, regulatory, and operational roles in water, communications, and energy, working for major UK regulated businesses like Thames Water and BT. Living in Manchester with his family, Ed enjoys live music and solving cryptic crosswords.

Ben joined in 2025 as Group Chief Financial Officer, where he oversees Finance, Governance and Continuous Improvement, IT Development & Infrastructure, and Data. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, he brings two decades of experience in financial services, having held senior positions within specialist lending organisations. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing pool, and cycling.

Nicolette Granite joined TAG in 2003 and is Governance and Continuous Improvement Director and Board Secretary. Having held a variety of operational roles across the business, she now leads initiatives that strengthen governance and support continuous improvement. Originally from Staffordshire, Nicolette now lives on the Wirral and enjoys spending time with family and walking along the coastline and country parks.

Edwyn joined the Group in 2025 and now leads its operations. Legally trained and commercially driven, he has built his career delivering tech-enabled growth across financial services and other regulated sectors. He is passionate about leveraging technology to drive meaningful, real-world impact. Outside of work, Edwyn enjoys spending time with his family or getting out on two wheels to explore the countryside.

John joined in 2013 and the focus of his team is on Group strategy development as well as leading on mergers and acquisitions. His background is in project and programme management in the energy and public sectors. Originally from Blackpool, John now lives in Liverpool and in his spare time enjoys playing golf and watching football.

Andrea joined in 2020 and leads on Relationships, Engagement, and Online Harms. She brings extensive experience from senior roles in large organisations across both the commercial and charitable sectors. Passionate about building trust, Andrea is committed to driving meaningful progress in the online space. Outside of work, Andrea lives in Wales with her husband and enjoys gardening. She also has two grown-up sons.

Sue relocated from Kent to the North-West and joined us in 2022. She leads the team responsible for everything people related which includes colleague services, colleague experience, our training academy and facilities. Previously, she’s held senior roles in both people and operations functions within retail, construction and manufacturing. When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her chasing the sun in her favourite travel spots.
