Celebrating Community Across Trust Alliance Group

  • Published Dec 18, 2025

Throughout December, colleagues across Trust Alliance Group came together to support communities in Warrington, Runcorn, Nottingham, Hartlepool and Peterlee through a series of festive TAGmas activities.

At our Daresbury head office, more than 1,000 primary school children from Warrington and Runcorn were welcomed for some festive fun. The children visited Santa in his grotto and enjoyed a range of festive activities created and supported by colleagues across the business.

Regional teams in Peterlee and Nottingham also visited local schools to donate gifts and spend time with younger pupils in the run-up to Christmas, bringing TAGmas to communities beyond our main workplaces.

Ceri Dobson Headteacher from St Bridget’s school said:

“The children were absolutely thrilled to receive their gifts, and the visit brought so much excitement into the school. It means a great deal to our pupils and their families to know that organisations like Trust Alliance Group are thinking of them at this time of year. The kindness shown by your team has made a real difference to our community.”

To support the wider community, colleagues donated essential items to local foodbanks; Warrington Foodbank, Nottingham Hope and Hartlepool Foodbank, helping local people at a time of year when pressures are often felt most for those experiencing hardship.

Simon Palmer, Group CEO at TAG, said:

TAGmas is about more than celebrating the festive season. It reflects our commitment to our communities and the values we uphold throughout the year. Whether welcoming over a thousand children to Daresbury, supporting foodbanks across the country or visiting schools in our regional locations, every part of this activity shows colleagues working together with purpose. These moments demonstrate what it means to be a group built on trust and genuine connection with the communities around us. I am incredibly proud of the way our teams have come together to make a positive contribution to the people and places we support.”

These activities form part of Trust Alliance Group’s wider commitment to being an active and responsible member of the communities where our colleagues live and work. By supporting local schools, community organisations and charities, TAGmas continues to bring colleagues together in a way that reflects our purpose: building trust, strengthening relationships and contributing to better outcomes for all. TAGmas is one of the ways we stay connected to the people and places that matter most, reinforcing our long-term commitment to the communities we serve.
