POPLA statement on CMA package of actions

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has today published its findings and recommendations following its review of the private parking sector.

In response to the CMA's announcement, POPLA has issued the following statement:

“We welcome the Competition and Markets Authority's work to review standards across the private parking sector.

We'll be interested to see how the Government and the wider parking industry respond to the CMA's recommendations. As an independent appeals service, we'll continue to provide a fair and impartial service for motorists and parking operators.”
